This workshop provides the knowledge to technically position and sell NetScaler. Students with little or no NetScaler experience will gain an understanding of the components of a NetScaler solution and their function. Additionally, students will learn through self-paced hands-on labs how to successfully install and configure NetScaler in preparation for a basic-level Proof-of-Concept.

This workshop is designed for Citrix Partners in technical pre-sales and systems engineer roles. Consultants, Architects, Implementers, and Operators in services roles supporting live production environments are strongly advised to take the Citrix NetScaler 10.5 Essentials and Networking training course, as this workshop is not designed for post-sales supporting roles.

Program

Upon successful completion of this workshop, students will be able to:



 




  • Deploy a NetScaler in a small scale controlled environment

  • Explain the product architecture including components, communication ports/traffic

  • Discuss the solution architecture and feature details to further the sales conversation

  • Discuss the business challenges solved by the product and the use cases and deployment options

  • Explain deployment options for particular use cases and their advantages and disadvantages

  • Identifying the right pre-sales opportunities

  • Explain how to use the Demo Center to demonstrate the solution


Forløb


  • Instructor guided training materials consisting of Microsoft PowerPoint and product demonstration walk through (8 hours)

  • Self-paced hands on lab exercises (6-8 hours). Access to a virtual lab system and exercise book will be available for 5 days after the workshop

  • This workshop is available to employees of authorized Citrix partners free of charge
