Description

This course aims to provide an overall understanding of the integration of IBM z/VM with an IBM cloud product called IBM Cloud Manager with OpenStack. It has  been written to teach everything from the basics of working with IBM Cloud Manager with OpenStack to performing advanced cloud based administrative tasks and will enable anyone who is interested in implementing OpenStack based solutions.

Objectifs

• Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of cloud computing from a technology standpoint
• Summarize the architecture of IBM z/VM and IBM Cloud Manager with OpenStack
• Integrate IBM Cloud Manager with OpenStack in an existing virtual infrastructure
• Summarize the key administrative tasks that need to be performed after the installation of IBM Cloud Manager with OpenStack
• Demonstrate an ability to access and interact with the graphical and command line interfaces of the product
• Summarize the concepts of creating new projects, users, networking configuration and other cloud related properties
