This one-day hands-on instructor-led workshop will introduce you to the Power Platform and in particular Pixel Perfect, Task and Role focused Canvas Apps for web and mobile clients. This course is ideal for those who have started looking at Power Apps and who need to know how to build their own apps using data sources they are familiar with.

In the afternoon, the course will switch to Power Automate to link and integrate cloud services and on-premises systems together to exchange data and to create end to end workflows and how to create approvals. This course is ideal for those who have started looking at Power Automate and who need to know how to build their own flows using data sources they are familiar with and to understand the full capabilities of Power Automate.

Objectives

At the end of the day, you will be able to:

- Understand important Power App concepts
- Use Expressions and Formulas in Power Apps
- Create Power Apps using SharePoint lists
- Embed Power Apps in a SharePoint site and in Teams
- Manage Power Platform environments and monitor usage
- Use the PowerApps checker
- Understand important Power Automate concepts
- Use Expressions in Flows
- Create Flows for SharePoint lists
- Use Flows from within Power Apps 
- Create scheduled recurring flows
- Create button flows on mobile and capture location and other data
- Monitor flow runs and resolve issues 

Audience

This one-day workshop is intended for people who have no Power Platform background but who have experience using Office 365, and who want to get started with the Power Platform. They may have been on one of the “in a day” courses and want to know what to do next.”
