This case study outlines Arrow Education’s approach to delivering a tailored IBM training plan to HSBC's global technical production support teams.
Background & Brief
HSBC Global Banking and Markets were finalising their first Master Data Management (MDM) application "ClientHub" , which is a "One Stop Shop" for trusted data within the investment bank. To prepare the HSBC GBM technical production support team for the global support of this new application the team required training on the IBM technology. The training was business critical with the project go-live highly reliant on its completion.
The Approach
Arrow adopted a collaborative approach and worked closely with both HSBC and IBM pulling out all the stops under demanding timescales and high customer expectations to arrange a tailored delivery. This involved liaising with instructors, IBM and HSBC to scope the specific training requirements, to include agreement on; a modular course outline, content to be developed, and delivery schedule across different time zones.
The Solution
Arrow developed a highly bespoke curriculum with standard training material condensed and additional content developed. The courses were delivered as private hybrid classes from Arrow's London Royal Exchange training centre with HSBC delegates attending from London and Brazil. Indian delegates accessed the class remotely via Arrow's interactive Live Class Link. The training was very well received and enabled HSBC to effectively support their ClientHub application. The training included:
